This model was quarter scale in size and made out of chipboard. To enhance the pattern by adding light on the side of the kiosk while also optimizing the design for privacy, I mimicked two types of plexiglass (one clear and the other semi-clear) using different types of vinyl sheets to create an ombre effect in the pattern. Two layers for the outer wall were needed to be able to glue the vinyl in between the pattern design. The curve of the model was achieved by using the end walls of the touchscreen area and the bath station as a frame to hold the outer walls together. Since there were two layers on the outer wall, the pop-out table was able to be created by not glueing the first layer to the door.
